When it comes to snagging the season’s best wardrobe you have to consider not only to look stylish but to also be warm and comfortable. Cardigans, hoodies and jackets are our best picks to get warm and they are pretty easy to wear and layer!

The best way to go is to invest in basics. For example cardigans, or soft cashmere tops which you can wear together. There are lots of awesome hoodies for women which also look stylish and you can mix and match depending on the temperature outside.

Choose warm accessories like scarves and hats or mittens to keep you warm, or for extra closure just go for some UGG boots. You can also go for heels and create a more astonishing daytime outfit, but make sure you choose something with adherence and lower type of heel, as the freezed sidewalks might not be the best time to venture like a diva!

Winter cardigans can either be layered over some T-shirt, but they can also serve as center-piece instead of a jacket. I usually go for this when the temperatures allow it and when it’s not absolutely freezing! I just get some cool statement boots and a oversized scarf and manage to get both a cool and comfortable look. You can also choose winter/snow patterned designs on cardigans and sweaters, they are very popular and they also make nice Christmas gifts. ;-)

Christmas colors usually highlight - Reds, Greens, White, Black or Navy, but it’s up to you really how you mix them and make them work. Keep in mind that less is more and you’d rather be a Rachel Bilson than a Christmas Tree. :)

Today was a lovely day for science! :) Still warm and friendly…. the pre-fall sun manages to delay the magical fall season, for just a bit longer. I love it how when you travel you get to places where the air breathes another season. This is why I am heading off to Spain for a few days.

Costa del Sol has always managed to capture all my senses and my imagination.

I am going to miss the long walks and the long summer days! This summer has passed so fast but somehow I managed to collect enough nice memories along the way… August has been the best so far and it made me realize that there is so much more that I need to feel and do! I have met amazing people and I have gone “deep sea” and did not shy away from adventures!

These photos are taken in a fortress city, citadel on a narrow street called - Rope Street. I absolutely adore - BRASOV. It can be quite a picturesque and romantic getaway in the heart of Transylvania! :) And I am so proud to call this my home.

I am wearing a white Topshop Dress and my River Island camel wedges, all mixed with an emerald skinny belt from Asos, golden aviators and a multi-colored bracelet.

I just love this mix! It’s official : shirts and skirts make quite the perfect outfits for this summer season.

I have actually started to notice several fashion bloggers who are hitting the streets with pretty cool interpretations of this look. The general guideline is to keep the outfits part smart - part casual. So a pretty relaxed skirt would look best matched with a simple shirt and vice versa. The hottest shoes seem to be the shoe-boots, however the summer heat can indulge multiple forms of footwear.  I just love the wooden platforms right now and I think they’d look awesome in an outfit like this. Will definitely give it a try this week.

Chiara from TheBlondeSalad.com and Emily at CupcakesandCashmere.com make a pretty good choice with the light jeans shirt which pretty much counts for a basic piece for putting together this entire look. Love the nude shoes! :X

I’ve taken these 2 looks from Lookbook.nu and my-wardrobe.com and they particularly caught my interest because of the cool pattern skirts. Even though the shirt is simple, it is the signature piece of the entire look because it manages to bring out the cool effect on the skirt. Like a white canvas :)

Mary Kate and blogger Keiko Lynn match the shirt to a lady-like midi skirt. I think this combination is pretty surprising but it somehow manages to bring the midi to more casual and modern peaks. Would you try it? I sure would….

No, this is not London,…but it’s an equally cool place in Vienna called the Hundertwasser-Haus and it had this red phone booth outside which looks so like London! I am wearing my striped aka. “convict” dress from H&M :)) a leather jacket from Zara which I also wear on top of my Mango maxi dress

As well as an array of nautical themed styles, the new season’s catwalks are also showcasing something a little different in the shape of light and lovely dresses in a unique tie die fabric.  This is an all new plus size fashion that has emerged for 2011 and one that is set you take us into the summer.

It is most definitely the time of year to start shedding the winter layers and investing in something a little lighter for the summer months and the revamped nautical trends are proving to be the perfect attire to do just this! Nautical influences were in fact popping up everywhere on the spring and summer catwalks, proving that they are most definitely here to stay! Because I bought this  cream tunic dress recently - ASOS Pleated Long Sleeve Shift Dress - £40.00, I really wanted to find some visual inspirations for the white/beige dress and how you can style it. The white tunic dress can be an excellent piece when you want to dress up and make a statement but at the same time not go too far. It can be quite a glamorous piece of clothing if you understand the whole ballance of the outfit. What you can do is to focus either on the dress and style it in such manner so that it is the central piece of the outfit, or use the dress as a basic and dress it up with statement accessories or jackets. Photo from The Sartorialist - I like that this look is so casual so but very chic. The Khaki parka is such a cool piece to style and wear around the city. I strongly consider that this look is stunning with practically any trench-coat :)) and some chic gold/leather accessories.

In this case the highlighted piece of the outfit is the pair of over the knee black boots! You can tell instantly that the dress and even the jacket are just supporting items and are not the lead actors on the outfit. Simple yet very powerful, I like it!

Not exactly a tunic dress, rather more of a shirt dress, but I really love this outfit from Copenhagen Street Style . I think the main focus in this look are the accessories. The black and white mix is never out of fashion so I think it is very easy to have this sort of an outfit set up and matched with cool urban accessories.

This is the most glamorous tunic dress outfit that I’ve found!! White fur, over the knee black boots and a clutch?! This shouts cocktail attire to me :)) However, you can see that the entire look is melted down by the simple and chic dress. This outfit is not the most creative or highly styled, except that it is Diane Kruger :)) and this dress she has on! I really like the fabric and shape because it gives a structure and a lovely silhouette. Pairing it with ballet flats is such an excellent choice for any daytime look and again the minimal accessories equal high impact on the dress. She gets extra points for this ;)
