Oh yes, the day to laugh about our passionate madness has come!  The day when all fashionistas will seem rather innocent compared to one big spender :)).

Sophie Kinsella’s book “Confessions of a Shopaholic” will hit the cinemas soon and hopefully it will be a big hit because there are more books and possible sequels to the story. I’ve read the story and laughed a great deal! I fell in love with Rebecca Bloomwood - played by Isla Fisher in the movie - the moment she hid her bank letters into some drawers like they never existed.

The style of the character is “mix and match”, let’s not forget that she  is a sales-hunter and an impulsive shopper, that’s why, Rebecca Blomwood’s sense on style is excentric and somehow extreme.

Isla Fisher wears lots of neons and bright bold colors and apparently all together!  The cinched waist trend is a big hit in the movie together with leather gloves, plaid patterns, fucshia shoes and short furs, as Kinsella’s character is the ultimate trendsetter.

With just a week to Valentine’s Day, we are slowly starting to think at what to wear. Choices are endless but they also have to be mismatched with your personality. Who cares if everyone wears red if you don’t like it and you look like a juicy tomato in it (I know i do:))) )?!?!

Yes! Because Valentine’s Day should be a day when you shouldn’t worry about everything just look hot. Even if you’re single or taken, you should have fun and enjoy every second of this day mostly because it’s about LOVE and it’s true meaning. And the other good part is that men don’t like loose stuff and baggy tops, men love sexy cinched waists with hot heels and sexy smiles.

I keep trying to be cool and well dressed when I go out with my friends or when I have to meet with them for a project or some get-together. I thought of something nice and cool for this season, and I think I could really wear this.

I would feel confortable in these amazing Chalyle chocolate brown boots from La Garconne(2), with a long loose orange jersey dress - Diane von Furstenberg from Net-a-Porter(1) and a Balenciaga Quilted leather jacket from Browns(4). I’d wear a knitted hat like this one from Topshop(3) or maybe some fancy copper sunglasses from Notcouture(9). I also love the accessories : the Grisogono Ring from Lussori(5) the hair accessories from Claires(7) or the antique necklace from Cut+Paste (8). Oh, and don’t forget about some makeup and a smart fragrance, both from Sephora.

  Today I feel like doing something fun, as they say in SATC soundtrack….”I’m shopping for love…” I’ve put together an outfit with some orange and burgundy tones to keep you fashionable but also warm. Accessories are mostly golden this season and you should wear mixed materials - GOLD- LEATHER- WOOD. Pins are also cool and they bring somehing extra to your outfit. Don’t forget to have fun! :)

Tees can be powerful dressing items if you match them smartly.

You can choose from different types starting with simple- one color ones and going deeper with polo T’s or graphic prints. You should always have in your wardrobe:

a couple of simple tees - white, black, beige or grey

some grahic prints - polka dots, stripes, stars, animal prints

a few polo tees- intense blue and red, yellow, green
