I think you all know how details become essential when putting together an outfit or en event. Even if you have all the major pieces, you need to finish everything with a nice touch. When thinking about an outfit, the details can be the accessories or hair and make-up. For a bigger event, such as a wedding, the details can include the buffet, the floral arrangements or the wedding invitations.

At other previous weddings where I helped my friends who were getting married with planning, I used to go with the bride to local wedding stationery stores and order the invitations, but we were never very pleased of the range of options they had. Some of them didn’t come in other colors or they were simply too classic.

So this year, another friend of mine is getting married and this time we have found the perfect stylish invitations. She has everything planned in a fancy yet minimalist design, so we were searching for a special invitation design as well. We found amazing options of wedding invitations by David’s Bridal!

I really like that they have a wide selection of which you can choose from, and lots of cool styles. The ribbon and the arty typography designs are so chic and you can customize their color as well.

Took a nice walk yesterday around the green parts of my city and snapped a few pictures. I really like how when you are close to parks and nature, everything seems more optimistic and alive. I think we should always keep in mind that a short escape in the nature can do miracles for our mood and state of mind.

I am wearing my favorite maxi dress by Mango. I’ve bought this last year when somehow I found clothes at Mango more affordable. This year they have really positioned the products much higher than a fast fashion brand. Anyway, the flats are Zara and so is my cropped leather vest. …oh and I almost forgot about my addiction, the Prada sunglasses.

Help Me Decide between these 2 amazing pairs of footwear that I like on Asos.com. I really love platform sandals right now and I cannot make up my mind between these 2.

Leopard Platforms - ASOS HEIST High Platform Sandals With Bow vs. Camel Leather Plaforms - River Island

They are both around 70GBP leather and suede, so the quality is kind of similar. What I think though is that the River Island camel sandals are more versatile and probably more of an investment piece than the Leopard Printed platforms, which are more fancy and kind of statement.

Hi guys, I am back since yesterday and even though Rome was nice and sunny, I got a terrible cold :)) I am happy though, I got back with lots of new ideas and great energy.  I realized there is just so much beauty and culture out there that it’s just a shame to weep and feel sorry about yourself when you can discover everything there is around you.

ROME is such a wonderful place to admire everything and to get inspired just from watching people walking on the streets. Their history is so rich and just waiting to be discovered and besides that there are these nice shops and cafes downtown where you can relax and take a bite of Italy’s finest.

I am still downloading all the pictures I’ve taken and will soon post some interesting shots of Rome street style, my outfits and stylish places!

Happy New Year!!!!

Can’t believe how quickly the winter break went by!!! I really didn’t have time to write much or to relax more…..

Everything was kind of hectic, lots of old and treasured friends in town so going out, talking memories and remembering what we did all these years was a must!

It’s funny how fast everything goes by. You only realize it when you have to focus on special days. On New Year’s Eve, for a few seconds….time stops. I then realize that another year has passed and how much I changed - actually how much everything changed…. (Facebook wasn’t practically our entire LIFE last year :))). Anyway, I think about what I’ve learned and where I wanna be this future year… I also think about friends and special people who have been my muses throughout these 12 months.

To them, to YOU, I would like to raise my glass and thank you all for sharing 2010 with me!

I wish you happiness, good health and wings to fly high and achieve your dreams. May 2011 bring the best experiences for you, the most wonderful collections and outfits and may we find  inspiration everywhere around us…
