I have to come clean and confess I am such a big Lauren Conrad fan! She is always so cool and effortless chic and she has amazing style. Not to mention that she practically registred the LC “braid”  - you can check out all the you tube tutorials showing you how to successfully pull the look.

But getting back to the point, I really love her casual chic / dressy looks. They are so suitable for going out to drinks or even to a date or to party with your friends. Her style is definitely LA - defined - eclectic, sexy and relaxed. Just how I like it!

Nevertheless, I really think that she has evolved so much since “The Hills” and she is more grown-up now and more focused - with her books coming out, her fashion line and her website, so I am really counting on seeing many great things from her.

Lauren Conrad in a silver bodycon dress paired with brown pumps. I just love this outift, it says confidence and it’s so feminine. And when you think she attended an Avon event, somehow it fits the picture even better.

The white - pink slit maxi dress outfit is perfect on Lauren! The entire summer feel also stands out in the 3 mini dresses below. I think this is the most representative clubbing or party look at this very moment! Lauren Conrad’s look focuses on a white tuxedo jacket as the center piece matched with edgy leather leggings and suede platforms. So cool and non-complicated!

Fall collections are knocking at the door, but we are still trying to keep the summer in our hearts and in our outfits. I really love how easily you can drift into a fall mood by simply choosing a few key pieces that make this transition almost invisible.

I have selected some of the coolest outfits worn by celebrities on street or at events, but where you can see that the outfits are starting to become more suitable for the fall season.

Maxi skirts are such a great option to welcome the new season because you can slide into cooler temperatures and you won’t feel a thing! I really like how the short booties look with maxi skirts, but you can easily wear them with flats, Alessandra or Selena chose,  or even with wedges.

Jackets add the perfect finish touch on any fall outfit. No matter if you choose a light leather jacket, a jeans jacket or a tuxedo jacket you can easily refresh your looks for fall because jackets are truly a fall must-have. I am sure you all have a nice jeans jacket such as this one worn by Busy Philipps, but I think that the hardest one to find is the black blazer jacket. I have been searching for a long time for a nice affordable black jacket in the Solange Knowles style and have finally found a cool one at Zara. I think the cut is the most important feature of this item, followed shortly by the quality of the fabric.

Minis are definitely a chic way to maintain a stylish and sexy look, ever during the fall season. You can go for printed dresses or less fancy cotton styles which you can wear with flats. Mini skirts or dresses can easily be paired with jackets or short boots, and because the temperatures are still high you don’t need any tights or leggings. What you need to watch is the sheerness of the dresses, try to go for thicker fabrics and dresses with a well-defined shapes as opposed to soft and transparent summer dresses. Check out Lauren Conrad’s printed dress and Taylor Shift’s orange A-line shaped dress, these are lovely choices for the fall 2011 season.

It seems that the flared jeans and silk blouse combo is a winner for this fall. Even if we have seen it mixed in the summer season, I think this trend has not fully bloomed during the hot months. Katie Holmes and Zoe Saldana sport this cool casual look which is probably suitable for many of our office attires.

Tonight I’ve been getting up to speed with some of my favorite and neglected Tv-shows such as Vampire Diaries, Love Bites and Gossip Girl. The last one is nevertheless huge fun and crazy outfit inspiration!I am not into the entire bitchiness scenarios and all the intrigues, however the clothes do make the show! :D

The entire “Dress like you are going to meet your worst enemy” approach really works for me.  No matter how hard your day was or how disappointing your friends may have been, it’s the getting up and being strong that prevails.  It’s a bit dramatic to think about it this way, but at the end of the day you are what you wear … :-)

Here are the outfits I just love for this summer!

The Green Maxi Dress together with the entire beach ensemble makes me dream of resort collections and faraway islands. Pair your maxi with nice gladiator sandals and a boho straw hat for a perfect mix..

Ruffles and florals. What more can I say ?! Love the brown leather in this combo and don’t forget about a touch of sensual : loose hair,  transparent lip-gloss.

Even if Blake wore an empire maxi skirt, the impact would have been the same: Old Hollywood Glamour. Flared trousers say 70’s style and so do the over-sized jewels and the lingerie worn in the open. Daring, but why not?!

A touch of Street style - Blake and A touch of Banquet - Leighton. There has always been more drama around Blair and more sparkle around Serena. Which role do you play? :-)

I really love this festival, nomad outfit that Blake is wearing. Not quite a maxi skirt but something in the likes of it: the layered outfit. Paired with a one-piece bathing suite / leotard and a casual jacket + sandals, the look can be quite stunning for a summer concert, festival or at the beach. But be careful S, for you might turn some heads in the city looking like this :-)

Vanessa keeps it boho-chic and print-friendly. All her outfits are eclectic and share this open vision towards fashion. The mix between high and low is maybe the best for her character, for she does not quite afford the high-maintenance life that others are living. So she goes for layering, being creative and trying versatile items and accessories. Extra chic points for the clogs, fringe details and the jeans vest.

The perfect Parisian duo. The moon and the sun, the fancy and the dreamer. I love this pair.

I absolutely love this khaki -  dark chocolate - gold colour mix on Lauren Conrad!

As you may probably know by now khakis and browns are so IN right now! I also assume you’ve all seen the dozens of military chic options everywhere in stores, so I think this outfit is a good inspiration for all of us.

Lauren mixed a paterned khaki casual dress from Boule’s with a pair of dark chocolate Christian Louboutin pumps and wrapped up the whole look with a chic belt in the same color as the shoes.

Regarding her accessories, I have to be honest and say that the bracelet she chose was probably the best option considering the event she attended was during the day and the whole set was friendly and casual.  I really think golden accesorries are especially chic on her now because she has those blonde highlights and all that, but also because they go perfectly with the colour scheme of the whole outfit.

I looked around the stores and found tons of ways in which you can accessorize this outfit if you want to adjust it for evening or for a dressier event. My personal tip would be to wear with a chic leather jacket in dark brown and maybe an oversized cocktail ring.

Considering the impressive amount of requests I am getting regarding Miley Cyrus inspired-looks, I have decided to showcase some of the coolest outfits of this teenage rock muse.

While browsing for all these looks that you can see all in detail bellow, I was actually thinking I kind of like her style. Yes, it’s all “LA babe”, “rock-chic” and all that, but at the end of the day I actually see that most of her outfits are very cool and great options to inspire other teens. (except maybe for the distressed stockings she wears from time to time :D )

Miley’s style is both very young and fresh. She usually rocks both casual daytime looks with comfy shoes and other basics, but she can also dress it up with layers of accessories, edgy heels or rock inspired items. I also think she has been in the Hollywood scene for quite some time now and this gives her way more self-confidence than other rock princesses like Taylor Momsen for example. This is why maybe she sometimes is very put together but other times you can see her just in a plain t-shirt or ripped denims, UGGs or flip-flops.

But let’s get serious! You have bellow my top choices for Miley Cyrus inspired outfits. I really like how she mixes white simple tanks with awesome cardigans for a chic relaxed look but she can also wear cardigans as a stage outfit. This requires some embellishments in order to serve the ocasion but other than that the same rule applies : wear with basics.

Rihanna has been showing off this season some hot fur accessories. Despite justified PETA complains, I really believe fur/ true or faux is a key element of the cold season. The glamorous options include either the complete fur coats or just some fur insert. Fur is something that really stands out so be careful not to overwork it. You need to focus on at most 2 fur pieces - if they are sort of similar, otherwise you will look like a furry christmas tree :)

I really like the Juicy Couture cardigan and the pom pom hairband on ASOS, I think it’s very chic and playful. Also, the Nordstrom furry options are really amazing. If you want to make  a statement pairing black fur and golden sequins is very glamorous way to do that.

Rregarding the brown Nordstrom trenchcoat, well… I think I could wear that every day :)

I think Vanessa Hudgens is a pretty hot topic right now and everyone is practically on the lookout for her. I had received numerous requests to do some research about the accessories she wears and how she mixes them with her cool outfits.

The accessories that Vanessa Hudgens usually wears are fun and boho vintage. She plays around with different styles and materials and you cannot really say what her next choice will be. However, there are some guidelines to steal her style.

The Rings - Not overworking this accessory, Vanessa manages to find unique oversized rings that empower her outfits. Even though I found just a couple of pics with rings, I got the idea that she usually wears rings for formal events when there aren’t to many accessories, for example a red carpet event, where she wears the ring but no bracelets.

The necklaces - Vaneessa’s neckalaces usually have a sort of twist. They are special pieces, always with a story.  Either long and with pendants or multiple layered chains, small or oversized, she usually wears a necklace with every outfit.

The Watches - Never saw Vanessa wearing many watches, but what popped out was this cool golden tone watch. I have to say I like how this fashion watch can add a touch of style to any outfit. Try to go for pieces that are an investment because these really add value to anything you wear. I’d choose diamond watches or something similar.

The Bracelets - I think the bracelts are one of Vanessa signature pieces. Almost in every picture of her, bracelts are a must! The key to get the look is to layer thin pieces, and when I say layer, I mean to really go for it! There can be lots of cool things that work, starting with thin chains and  bangles, elastic stones bracelets. These are very easy to wear and to match with any outfit. Just pick a color on one of the bracelets and then it’s super easy to layer with metallics or other neutrals.

The Earrings - Vanessa loves long statement earrings and she often wears big chic earrings with casual daytime looks. When night drop, however, she chooses sphisticated drop crystal earrings usually when her hair is up.

Kanye’s video looks very similar to the SinCity visuals and the black and white style  is really fresh these days. I really like this song and I think RiRi looks amazing in her sexy nightwear and the cut-out corset. I was wondering what she would wear and I was sure it had to be viciously hot :) So, today’s outfit is all about black sexy pieces. We’ve got Viktor and Rolf and Balmain. What do you think?
