Crazy Hats - Royal Ascot

As you all probably know by now, Royal Ascot Enclosure is based on serious dress code and women are obliged to wear super-sized hats and not show any shoulders. Men have fun rules too and the combination resulting is almost insane.

The Guardian offers a huge photo gallery with outfits inspired from “Pan’s Labyrinth” movie. The bizarre collection of looks inspired from nature or a forgotten childhood takes us into a faraway universe, where modern socialites play the parts divinely.  Feathers and nests, flowers and leaves and sweets were the major inspirations for the unique accessories.
