If you were like me you were just dying for this event to happen. Even though fans were kicking and screaming and lines of people went around and around the corner, you shouldn’t have missed this. Lovely Kate Moss appeared in a flowing sheer green maxi dress (that was absolutely smashing BTW) and just put on a simple motorcycle leather jacket. So cool!

The black leggings were supporting the jacket as black always goes with black. :) I don’t know if it would be appropriate to wear this kind of leather jacket on a formal attire but if you want to blow everyone’s minds, you can sure try. In fact, I never tried this before either but now I have the courage to do it. The next wedding I go to will be my scene!

BTW: How do you find the prices for the US Collection ? I’ve heard there are some differences…

You can start taking advantage of  the spring weather and adjust your wardrobe with fun and playful items. Age isn’t a reason not to enjoy the Hottest Items Of The Season or to step out in a shinny new pair of ballet flats. The navy bag  is already poised to become a really important part of our wardrobes and you can easily pair it with the Nautical Trend that keeps coming back every spring and summer.  Mini Skirts are really hot this season too and even if you hadn’t considered a high-waisted option yet, I think you’ll change your mind this season. I was reluctant to try this trend myself but I love this beige ruffled mini skirt from 3.1 Phillip Lim . Bold colors can also work for this outfit, however nudes and pastels can never go wrong :) 

The graphic tee and the silly cute ballet flats are the fun part of this outfit. I’ve found this website TopMax, that has some amazing Tees and dresses. This one is actually a dress but I’m sure that you can squeeze another graphic tee into your skirt to get the right high waisted look.  The Miss Marc Ballerinas are extremely eye catchy and they look so comfortable and unique. I think they really have that french style and can easily style up any outfit.

So, you shouldn’t worry too much about the accessories. and just go with something simple and casual. I loved this small bottle pendant from DAY Birger et Mikkelsen’s because it reminds me of that movie “Message In A Bottle”… quite a story wasn’t it?

You can wear a short leather jacket or something similar to finish your look. Remember, short is the new lenght for jackets this season :) and there are so many options in the shops out there, this one for example is from H&M.

I already pointed out the main Jean Trends for 2009 , but we seem to have a new addition :)

I know you all loved the flared jeans when they were cool back in the ’90s, I know I did…Or was I lame?!

Anyway…times have changed and even though nowadays we are mostly breathing  the skinny jeans trend, we cannot help noticing how flattering the flared jeans look. Stars are digging the look too and more and more pictures pop out overnight with flared jeans on Victoria Beckham,Heidi Klum or other celeb trendsetters.

However, the flared jeans have a big problem when compared to skinny jeans : They don’t look good with flats, no matter what ! Heels are a must when styling a pair of flared jeans and you should also consider wearing them dark and with skinny tops in order to keep the proportions of your figure.

I. Casual Chic Flared Jeans Outfit

Tunics are a hitlist item this season and they’re perfect with flared and skinny jeans. Try to get a sheer one or a silk tunic for the ultimate look.  The belt gives an hourglass shape to your figure and don’t forget the heels. Style the outfit with a cool biker jacket, vintage jewelry and a neon bag and you can wear it when around town or when you’re out with your friends. So chic!

II. Wear To Office Flared Jeans Outfit

The sheer tops will be really hot this spring beacuse it is versatile and can be worn after office too and still look fresh and sexy. Try a darker pair of jeans to keep the outfit more formal and neutral while at the office. You can choose booties or platform shoes to pair with the flare jeans but be careful of the lenght of the jeans. Flared jeans can be hard to fit with the shoes so it is recommended to adjust their lenght while wearing the heeled shoes.

I particularly loved this badge that says I kissed a vampire and I liked it, mostly because I love Katy Perry’s song and Twilight so these 2 combined are still cool :)) This outfit is all about making the most of this Valentine’s! Even if you’re single, it doesn’t matter! Just get dressed and get in love. I’ll help you with half of this. :)

The top - Solid washed favorite tank, JCrew. There are lots of tanks out there but if you want to pull a sexy look you should go for a simple bold color tank or even a black sexy one. Remember, less is more and you don’t want to overdress this ruffled skirt.

The boots - High Ankle Boot, TopShop - Everyone must onw some ankle boots by now so it’s easy to find ones. This sexy skirt also looks amazing with sexy peep-toes or some sandals, but you should keep in mind that it’s still early spring.

The leggings - Glossy Open Heel & Toe Leggings, Forever21 - Always feared of wearing shinny leggings, thought they’d look ridiculous on me, but when finally tried them on, they instantly became my favourite leg-wear. They are perfect for the evening, they make you look skinny and sexy and they go well with ankle boots.

The lingerie - Pink flock spot set, Debenhams. Sexy lingerie should be a must even if it’s not Valentine’s Day.

Makeup - Juicy Gloss, Coach . If you plan on kissing much you should replace lip makeup with heavy eyemakeup and keep you lips nude. It’s much sexier and clean. :))

Accessories - Kenneth Jay Lane Silver Star Pendant, My-Wardrobe.com,  Fabulous Flower Clutch, Boden. Try to wear something special, maybe a gift from your boyfriend or some other lucky charm. It will make you more confident and more attached to this night.

Vintage - skirt and leather jacket.The leather jacket is an essential item this spring, that’s why I can’t stop recommending this :). Try a high waist ruffled skirt or a black sequin skirt if you’re going to a club or some drinks in a bar. You can never go wrong !

I couldn’t stop admiring this Suede Panel Clutch. Topshop never stops amazing me :).  I love that it has that bohemian undefined shape that is really cool, even if trends are switching towards a more structured box shape. You can mix and match it easily with some gold chained charm accessories like this Four Row Bow Charm Necklace from Wetseal or a Crystal circle ring.

Why not look really hot this Valentine’s and go for a strapless sexy dress. There are lots of shapes so even if you aren’t so gifted you’ll still be able to pull off this look.

For smaller sized cleavage : You can try a shorter dress maybe a babydoll one that pulls the focus onto something else (eg. your legs)

For bigger sizes :  You can enjoy a knee lenght dress because it really makes you look taller and slimmer.

Oh and don’t forget about the heels, they’re essential for mind blowing points! You have to try managing some platforms or at least some booties to complete this outfit. I love these sandals from Forever21 but I guess a lot of people loved them since they have sold out since I’ve saved the photo. I’ve found some cute peep toes instead here.

And there is this jacket on Collete.fr .  I just fell in love with it! It  has that modern rock look because of the black leather and the studs, you’ll love it. However, a leather jacket could go or even a cropped blazer, because the DRESS+ROCK JACKET trend is still out there!

And for hot Valentine’s Nights I just love Lolita Lempicka. BTW, What do you think of solid perfumes ?

I keep trying to be cool and well dressed when I go out with my friends or when I have to meet with them for a project or some get-together. I thought of something nice and cool for this season, and I think I could really wear this.

I would feel confortable in these amazing Chalyle chocolate brown boots from La Garconne(2), with a long loose orange jersey dress - Diane von Furstenberg from Net-a-Porter(1) and a Balenciaga Quilted leather jacket from Browns(4). I’d wear a knitted hat like this one from Topshop(3) or maybe some fancy copper sunglasses from Notcouture(9). I also love the accessories : the Grisogono Ring from Lussori(5) the hair accessories from Claires(7) or the antique necklace from Cut+Paste (8). Oh, and don’t forget about some makeup and a smart fragrance, both from Sephora.

I love the mix-and-match from these outfits! The girls are practically wearing a single outfit. Starting with the brown and red tones from their jackets and getting to the leather-pants and suede boots, they seem to wear everything this season is about.
