Can’t believe just how fast this year has passed. This year, I feel like I felt it all :  love, joy,  happiness, excitement but also I have been disappointed, heart-broken and melancholic. I think there has to be natural balance between all these feelings and at some point we all have to go through these things that will in time shape who we are.  I’ve learned that I have to stand up and be strong no matter what, that friends can heal wounds, that passion can make magic, that life can taste like chocolate and that stunning dresses can really make your day …or evening for that matter.

I just love how this Australian Designer manages to mix simple with elegant. When you see these dresses they are all very sexy but very powerful, you know as the types of dresses that stun just when you walk into a room. The Collette Dinnigan Summer 2009 collection was all about eclectic tones, mostly black and white or silver gray.
